Chocolate Chip Macadamia Cookies



  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt 

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar 

  • ¾ cup brown sugar 

  • ¼ cup Bragg olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

  • 2 eggs, room temperature 

  • 1-2 tablespoons almond milk 

  • 1 cup chocolate chips 

  • ½ cup macadamia nuts 

In this recipe:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. 
  • Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl and set aside. 
  • Combine sugars, olive oil and vanilla in a separate bowl. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Gradually beat in the flour mixture, then add in 1-2 tablespoons almond milk. 
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. 
  • Roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls and place on greased or parchment lined baking sheets spaced about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a cooling to finish cooling.
