What exactly is it?

 

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the juice from the fruit of the olive tree, which is obtained solely by mechanical or other physical means under conditions where no heat, chemical, or other processes may lead to alterations in the oil. Extra virgin olive oil must have a free acidity of no more than 0.80%, , and flavor, color and aroma characteristics which correspond to those fixed within the International Olive Oil Council standard. Unlike vegetable oils, olive oil is extracted from a fruit, the olive, and not a seed.  Bragg Extra Virgin Olive Oil is 100% extra virgin olive oil, with no other oils added, and is made solely from Greek olives to provide is distinctive flavor.

 

    How to use it?

    • Perfect for sautéing, grilling, and baking and for use in sauces, dips, dressings and marinades. 
    • Use as a natural beauty treatment for hair and skin or combine with sugar for a homemade lip scrub.
