Bragg Employees Pave the Road to B Corp Certification
We’re proud to announce our official B Corp Certification, underscoring our longtime dedication to sustainability and social responsibility.
Certified B Corporations are a part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Our continued commitment to environmental, social and governance (or ESG) practices includes initiatives like investing in producing 100% of Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in the U.S., establishing a corporate donation match program and giving Bragg employees paid time off for volunteer work. Being recognized as a Certified B Corp is a testament to our unwavering dedication to join the global movement of positively impacting the world by using business as force for good.
Our CEO, Linda Boardman shared, “B Corp Certification was an opportunity for Bragg to codify an important pillar of the company’s ethos: responsible business. It means so much more knowing it was our employees who boldly made it their mission to push the company toward this certification. The passion of our employees has always set Bragg apart, and our collective efforts towards this purpose-driven mission gives me confidence in the impact we’ll continue to make in the world.”
Employees spearheaded the B Corp effort, inspired by our well-established responsibility practices and embodying the vision to inspire healthy living for all.
Reflecting on the certification journey, Ashton Roberts said, “I was emboldened and empowered by the company to pursue this certification. Bragg was already making waves in the ESG space before applying for the B Corp, for example, testing every batch of Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar for product safety & quality and promoting diversity with women representing 60% of management. Becoming B Corp certified represented our pledge to ensure that these values were formally embedded into our ways of working and would be passed down for generations of Bragg to come.”
We recently launched a “Bragg In Action” committee led by employees as one way we’re furthering our continuous improvement pledge. This group will be committed to furthering education around healthy habits, empowering the organic agriculture ecosystem and actively supporting important community causes.
Our new B Corp Certification reflects a belief in vibrant living of people and the planet, which has always been at our core.
