Government Affairs & Responsible Lobbying Policy

Government Affairs & Responsible Lobbying Policy

Bragg Live Foods

Bragg Live Foods does not engage in lobbying, does not make political contributions, and does not use trade associations or intermediaries to lobby on its behalf.

Our Commitment

At Bragg Live Foods, we believe that food is a force for good — and that businesses have a responsibility to act with integrity, transparency, and respect for people, communities, and the planet.

This policy explains how Bragg approaches government affairs and public policy, in alignment with our mission, values, and the B Corp Government Affairs & Collective Action standard (GACA1.1).

Our Position on Lobbying

Bragg Live Foods does not engage in lobbying. If Bragg were to lobby in the future, it would be to improve ethics and transparency across the industry.

This means that Bragg:

·       Does not lobby elected officials or government agencies at any level

·       Does not employ or retain lobbyists or lobbying firms

·       Does not make political contributions, including to candidates, political parties, PACs, or ballot initiatives

·       Does not engage in indirect lobbying through trade associations or other intermediary organizations on its behalf

·       Will only engage in lobbying activities in the future that promote industry ethics and transparency as it aligns with the Bragg commitment stated above

If Bragg’s approach to lobbying or political engagement were to change in the future, we commit to updating this policy and disclosing those activities publicly.

How We Engage with Government

While we do not lobby, Bragg may interact with government bodies in limited, non‑advocacy ways — such as regulatory compliance, responding to information requests, or participating in educational or industry forums.

All such interactions are guided by the following principles:

·       Transparency: We communicate honestly and openly.

·       Integrity: We prohibit bribery, corruption, or improper influence in any form.

·       Mission Alignment: Our actions reflect Bragg’s purpose and long‑term commitment to human and planetary health.

·       Respect: We respect democratic processes and the role of public institutions.

Trade Associations & Collective Forums

From time to time, Bragg may participate in industry or multi‑stakeholder groups for learning, collaboration, or information‑sharing. Bragg does not authorize these organizations to lobby on our behalf.

If an organization’s advocacy becomes inconsistent with Bragg’s values or this policy, we will reevaluate our participation.

Governance & Oversight

This policy is overseen by Bragg’s executive leadership and reviewed periodically by the company’s highest governing body to ensure continued alignment with our practices, values, and B Corp standards.
