NUT BURGERS

1 cup pecans, chop
½ cup pine nuts, chop
⅔ cup wal­nuts, chop
½ cup macadamia, chop
⅔ cup cel­ery, finely chop
Egg Replacer equal to 2 eggs
1 cup cooked corn­meal
½ tsp poul­try sea­son­ing
½ tsp Bragg Sprin­kle
⅔ cup wheat germ
2 tsps Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
2 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil

Mix all ingre­di­ents by hand, except wheat germ and shape into pat­ties. Pat both sides with wheat germ. Sauté in heated
olive oil. When browned, remove and put on paper towel to absorb extra oil. Deli­cious served hot or cold.

Serves 6.

Healthy, heal­ing dietary fibers are fresh veg­eta­bles, fresh fruits, sal­ads, sprouts and whole grains. They help nor­mal­ize blood pres­sure and the cho­les­terol lev­els. These healthy foods also pro­mote healthy elimination.

SPROUT — NUT — LENTIL PATTIES

3 cups lentil sprouts
2 cups fresh cut corn
3 green onions, mince
2 car­rots, slice (as gar­nish)
2 cups cel­ery, mince
1 cup yel­low pea sprouts
1 tsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
shake of Bragg Sprin­kle
1 cup raw almond or creamy peanut butter

Put sprouts, corn, cel­ery and onions in food grinder. Add almond or peanut but­ter, Liq­uid Aminos and Sprin­kle. Mix well. Form into pat­ties, gar­nish with car­rot slices.

Serves 4–6.

BROWN RICE BURGERS

1 red onion, mince
Bragg Olive Oil
¼ cup soy milk
shake of Bragg Sprin­kle
4 Tbsps whole-grain flour
1 tsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
1 cup whole-grain cracker crumbs
2 cups cooked wild and/or brown rice

Add 2 cup of the whole-grain cracker crumbs, Liq­uid Aminos, soy milk, whole-grain flour, onion and Sprin­kle to the cold cooked rice. Mix lightly. Shape into round balls and roll in remain­ing cracker crumbs. Brush lightly with olive oil. Place in oiled bak­ing pan and bake at 350°F until golden brown. This may also be pre­pared with cooked whole-grain cereal, kasha or bul­gur instead of brown or wild rice.

Serves 4–6.

RAW LENTIL BURGERS

1 cup raw lentils, soak
1 green onion, chop
1 cup cel­ery, chop
1 Tbsp gar­lic pow­der
1 cup fresh corn
½ cup raw peanut but­ter
1 Tbsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
shake of Bragg Sprinkle

Soak lentils in warm water for 4 hours or overnight. Put lentils, corn, onion and cel­ery through food grinder. Add other ingre­di­ents and mix together. Form into patties.

Serves 4.
