BASIC GREENS
2 lbs steamed greens
2 cloves garlic, chop
¼ tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
4 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
2 Tbsps fresh squeezed lemon juice
Brown garlic in olive oil, add lemon juice and Liquid Aminos. Remove garlic and pour the garlic flavored oil over steamed greens before serving. Serve greens and liquids in bowl.
Serves 4.

No, juicing your greens is not nearly as healthy as eating them, provided that you use healthy cooking methods when you prepare the greens. For example, if you overcook the greens, you will lose too many of the nutrients they contain; in that case, you might be worse off than if you used a juicer. But as long as you use the healthy steaming or other cooking methods I describe in The World’s Healthiest Foods book, you’ll get a far greater variety of nutrients in the whole greens than in the juice.

2 lbs greens of choice
shake of Bragg Sprinkle
¼ tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
1 small onion, mince
dash of nutmeg
2 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
Steam greens and add olive oil, minced onion, nutmeg, Sprinkle and Liquid Aminos. Serve greens and liquid in bowls.
Serves 4.
Vegetables and fruits are endowed with naturally occurring pigments called flavonoids, which, among many other health benefits, may be a natural weapon in the weight-loss dept.

8-oz pkg rice noodles
½ lb snap peas, slice diagonally
1 red bell pepper, thinly slice
1 cup red cabbage, thinly slice
2 green onions, slice diagonally
1 clove garlic, mince
1 Tbsp ginger, mince
2 Tbsps Bragg Liquid Aminos
2 Tbsps Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
½ tsp raw honey
⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
3 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
1 Tbsp sesame seed, toast
Pour boiling distilled water over noodles, cover, let stand while preparing vegetables. Mix garlic and ginger with remaining ingredients, except veggies and sesame seeds and set aside. Drain noodles thoroughly and mix with vegetables. Add dressing and mix well. Top with sesame seeds.
Serves 4–6.
