6 cups fresh apple juice
1⅛ cups fresh lemon juice
⅓ cup raw honey
fresh mint sprigs
Combine apple and lemon juice. Add honey and stir until the honey dissolves. Fill 5–6 glasses about 2/3 full with the apple lemonade. Add enough ice to fill the glasses. Place a sprig of fresh mint leaves in each glass.
Serves 7.

18 fresh mint sprigs, chop
¾ cup distilled water
3 cups unsweetened fresh grape juice
¾ cup fresh lime juice
⅓ cup raw honey
Combine water and honey. Simmer 8 minutes. Pour over the chopped mint leaves. Cool; stir into combined fruit juices. Pour over shaved ice in glasses. Serve right away.

That lemon slice in your water may come with extra germs
One of my co-workers always asks for a slice of lemon in his water. I shudder every time I see that piece of lemon floating in his glass, but I don’t have the nerve to tell him it’s probably loaded with germs. Am I mistaken?

Wash 4 cup natural barley and soak overnight. Drain. Add one quart distilled water and simmer until the barley is thoroughly done and about 12 cups of liquid remains. Strain and serve plain, or add soy milk and season to taste with honey (or Stevia powder), pure vanilla, etc.

8 fresh mint sprigs
½ cup fresh lemon juice
3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
½ cup raw honey (or Stevia herb powder to taste)
Wash mint leaves, set aside 4 leaves for garnish. Bruise others with spoon to release flavor; cover with honey. Add lemon juice and let stand about 15 minutes. Add pineapple juice and blend. Pour over ice in pitcher or tall glasses. Garnish with remaining sprigs of mint.
Makes 4 glasses.

1 cup raw almonds
2–4 cups fresh pineapple juice — Variation: Cashew or almond milk
2 bananas
1 Tbsp soy protein powder
Blend almonds and soy protein powder with small amount of pineapple juice and then add more pineapple juice to desired thickness. Follow same procedure for cashew or almond milk if desired (almond recipe is below)
Serves 4.
Almond Milk
1 cup raw almonds (soak overnight)
1 qt distilled or purified water
3 dates, pit, chop (optional)
raw honey or stevia powder to taste
Put rinsed raw almonds, honey, dates and 12 — 2 cups of distilled or purified water in blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into container and add remaining water. Always shake well before pouring, as contents will settle. Makes 4 cups.
