Jim Baker opened the first health food restaurant in Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard. The Aware Inn served delicious vegetarian foods and eventually became a very popular gathering place for Hollywood Stars including Cary Grant, Warren Beatty, John Lennon, Lucille Ball and Clint Eastwood, etc. He later started the Old Word Restaurants in Beverly Hills and Palm Springs and then started The Source restaurants; all served delicious healthy cuisine.
Patricia said, “He was a very handsome man at 6′ 4″ tall. He could have been a Hollywood Star because he was so charming, outgoing and the perfect host.”
Baker met Paul Bragg at a Bragg Health Crusade in Cincinnati, Ohio, when Paul gave a cooking class. Patricia was interviewed by a film crew yesterday for an upcoming documentary about Jim Baker and the influence of Paul Bragg who was Baker’s mentor. The film crew and the producer spent three hours with Patricia reminiscing about the early days when the Aware Inn got started.
Patricia is so amazing. I admire her zest for life and hope to be like her one day!

I love Paticia Bragg! I come to this website just to calm myself, get inspired, and relax. I use the apple cider vinegar all the time and buy it in the gallon jugs. I use the Bragg Sprinkle, the liquid aminos, etc. I read the books. This truly is a life style, and a ministry to mankind. There is lots of love here, and one can sense it everywhere! Thanks, Patricia, for all that you do, for your dedication and vitality. As I’ve said, you are an inspiration to me. I’d love to meet you someday and talk with you in person.

I have long been a fan of not only Paul but Patricia Braggs
I was part of the Source communal family where I first met Jim Baker at the Old World and then The Source and I joined him on his adventure. some 30 years later I wrote the book on this time frame
the untold story of “Father Yod, Yahowha13 and the Source”…we now have a website http://www.yahowha.org and a Documentary is in the works, which is the photo shown on this blog..Patricia is being interviewed for that Documentary. Jim and Paul have known each other since Jim was a teen and it was Paul who first introduced him to Health and Food. Thank you Patricia for continuing the Braggs legacy.
