Bragg Fan, Marilu Henner talks about staying healthy and enthusiastic in Healthy Living Magazine
Marilu Henner is an accomplished actress, author of 8 successful books, mother of 2 children, wife, environmentalist and passionate health advocate. In her latest interview in Healthy Living Magazine, she tells us how she stays healthy and how she maintains a strong body and mind.
Marilu also talks about the positive influence that Bragg’s Liquid Aminos, Bragg Organic Olive Oil and Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar have made in her life. Here is an excerpt from the article:
“Speaking of eating well, Marilu flavors her foods with Bragg Live Foods products.”I love Bragg Live Foods,” she told me enthusiastically. “When my children were little, instead of giving them pasta with butter and parmesan, I gave them pasta with Bragg Olive Oil and Liquid Aminos. They loved it. We would use the Liquid Aminos spray on popcorn for a treat, too,” she raved. Marilu believes so strongly in their products, she will only use Bragg Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. “I practically have it written into my contract with caterers to have Bragg’s Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar available. And you see it recommended in many of the recipes in my books,” she gushed.”

Bragg Celebrates World Vegetarian Day October 1
Bragg Welcomes You to Celebrate a Healthier Way of Living ! October is the “Vegetarian Awareness Month” and we hope you will celebrate this special time with us. Read some of the things you can do to spread the word and be involved here: www.worldvegetarianday.org
If you are a vegetarian — keep celebrating! If you are not a vegetarian you we suggest that you take this month to learn more about the vegetarian diet.
There are many reasons to consider making this lifestyle change — or at least give it a try for the month of October. Heart disease, cancers are just some of the many diseases plaguing the average Westerner, with statistics nearing 1 in 2 people for both heart disease and cancer. Climate change continues to be a serious threat for all of us, with many increasing natural disasters and each year. Millions of animals are treated in conditions that are beyond inhumane. These are all valid concerns!

Are raw cranberries good for you?
Yes, raw cranberries (so long as they are high-quality and organically grown) are good for you. The reason that most people don’t eat cranberries raw is because they are very tart. (Some people might experience a stomachache from the fruit’s tartness, but from a nutritional standpoint, I would still describe raw cranberries as being a highly nutritious food and a food without natural toxicity risks.)

Pancreatic Cancer Detected by Blood Test
Researchers say they have developed a blood test that can spot pancreatic cancer earlier, when it is more curable.
The test uses an antibody that works like a heat-seeking missile, homing in and attaching to cells that carry a protein called PAM4 that is present in the vast majority of pancreatic cancers.

Socioeconomic Stresses Could Lower Life Expectancy
Socioeconomic status can affect life expectancy, a Virginia Commonwealth University researcher said in a study published.
People who live in areas with lower household incomes are much more likely to die because of their personal and household characteristics and their community surroundings, according to Steven H. Woolf, M.D., M.P.H., director of the VCU Center on Human Needs, professor in the Department of Family Medicine and lead author of the study.
